Warner Preaching

Sunday Morning at 10 am every week

Although the style and content varies from week to week, this is the weekly worship service where there is something for people of all ages. We always begin with prayer and sung worship all-together, and during this part of our worship the children are specifically encouraged to make use of instruments, shakers and other percussion sounds. On most Sundays during the year (except during school holidays) we then split into different groups with the adults remaining in the Church building, and the children going to age appropriate groups and we all learn more about the Christian faith and God's plans for our lives and for his world. Every other week our worship service will culminate with Holy Communion (some Christian Churches call it The Lord's Supper and some call it The Mass or The Eucharist). This is where we remember the Last Meal which Jesus had with his disciples before his death and subsequent resurrection, and it is always a special time as we recall the sacrifice which Jesus made for us and for the whole world. Afterwards, free refreshments are available in the Church hall

2nd Sunday each month at 5.45pm

Come Together - Informal worship (Praise and Worship, Praying for the World, Preaching from the Word)

3rd Sunday each month at 8am

A traditional service of Holy Communion

Monday Morning at 9am every week

Morning prayer - a time to bring the coming week before God

Baptism and Christening Services

These take place during our Sunday Morning worship service at 10 am on the 3rd Sunday in the month. On these occasions there are not different groups for children so we all worship God and witness the Baptism together. This is always a joyful occasion and on 3 or 4 occasions during the year we are delighted to be joined by our Uniformed Organisations such as Brownies, Cubs, Guides and Scouts.

We are delighted to receive enquiries concerning baptisms from people of all ages.
Parents wishing to enquire about a baptism for their child should first of all come along to one of our 10 am services and ask to speak to the Vicar (Warner) after the service. He will then arrange to visit to explain what happens next.
It is good to do this because we feel sure that you will experience a church which is friendly, and a church where you can make friends!
